COVID's New Divide: Risk-Takers vs. the Risk Averse

I am in the risk-takers group. I am going to restaurants that are not crowded and people are wearing masks when they are not eating. I am going to the movies, too. Not yet going into the city for the theater because it's just too much. I have a friend who mostly stays home and goes out for walks. She wants me to come over and sit with her but I don't want to. Am I a bad person? I mean what is there to talk about? She is highly opinionated and wants to debate but we are mostly in agreement about most topics and I don't want to hear her go on and on and on.....

I am bad but within the last couple of years, I have become more discriminating about how I spend my time. I like to spend alone time doing what I like to do. It seems I have a lot of dr follow-up appts and I hate them all!!

I have become a female curmudgeon of the worst kind but I don't mind it.

Anyone else having these COVID issues?

When the weather warms up...I will take walks with my friends, now the weather isn't cooperating.
I'm not comfortable visiting anyone in their homes....Covid-19 is very contagious...they understand
