Woman Snatches Veggie Steamer From Child During Black Friday Mayhem.
A woman came up to a boy and presumably his mother, and quite literally, ripped a discounted steamer out of the kid’s arms.

That's so crazy. There is not a sale in the world that would get me to fight my way through a throng of rabid shoppers like that.

I am with you on that. No discount is worth all that. I saw a video where there was a brawl at one Walmart in the shoe department. People were literally fighting over shoes. It is just craziness to me. Why do people loose their minds like this during black Friday sales.

That is exactly why I avoid Black Friday shopping. No price reduction is worth the crowds of crazies. I much prefer doing my shopping on line. No crowds, no lines, great deals & delivered to your door free. What more could a shopper ask for?
I love to watch Dr. Drew on HLN and they have a segment on trending news of the day, they often discuss the craziness that goes on at Walmart. They now refer to it as Brawlmart. Pretty accurate, I think.

This is even worse than Seinfeld grabbing a loaf of marble rye out of an old lady's arms.

Other than stocking stuffers and gift cards I am doing almost all of my shopping online this year. I'm actually nearly done and I never even usually start until December. I do like picking up a few personal little things here and there and love getting neat stocking stuffers, but half an hour in a busy mall is about my limit and if I have the kids with me you can cut that time in half.

People are nuts about a sale...that could possibly cost them a stint in jail or worse a hospital visit.
I went food shopping this morning ....again...and I just stay away from the crazies...they're even in the supermarket.
I will be shopping online...started already...and only if absolutely necessary will I venture out to the stores...

I'm with you Spunky! Don't remember the last time I was in a mall or shopping plaza. Black Friday is to me the very last thing I would even consider doing the day after Thanksgiving. Why miss the college games?? My sister and her friends set the alarm, or never go to bed, to be 'first' in line. Baffles me and I just don't get it. They come home with what they think are bargains only available on Black Friday however, I can get the same bargain, if not better, on Cyber Monday or with good bartering skills.
Same goes for grocery shopping. SO and I shop for food online and have it delivered on our schedule which is not always consistent. Best thing ever! The only time we go to the grocery store is when we run out of coffee, cream, milk and/or eggs. This could turn into a crisis for us and SO is usually the one to go because he is much better at staying away from the crazies than I am.
