American Airlines will cut service to four cities because of a pilot shortage. As of Sept. 7, the airline will no longer serve Islip or Ithaca in New York; Toledo, Ohio; or Dubuque, Iowa. This is not a good sign for future flyers and not good for airfares.
Flying to CA from NY is $700 one way.........great if you're super-rich....oh yes, there are a lot of super-rich folks around now. Lots of folks have managed to capitalize on the woes of the pandemic. Average Americans are paying the price.
