Thousands of Black Evangelical Religious Leaders Endorse Trump
Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has cancelled a press conference in which his campaign said he would be endorsed by as many as 100 (thousands and thousands) of black evangelical religious leaders.
Many of those invited to the event say they had no intention of endorsing the billionaire businessman and former reality television star.
"It's a miscommunication," said Darrell Scott, the senior pastor of New Spirit Revival Center in Cleveland Heights, Ohio, who has helped to arrange meetings between Trump and black pastors in recent months.
Trump's campaign "thought it was going to be a press conference for an endorsement when it wasn't," Scott said Sunday in an interview.

Oopsie. Trump forgot to tell the 100 religious leaders that by showing up they were endorsing him. LOL.
This has been a rough week for Trump. I hope it doesn't hurt him in the polls. I mean that sincerely.

This is what I imagine Trump will say: "I tell ya, these pastors, I wanna meet with them, they say yes and then no. Can't hold to a deal. You kidding me? And it's not like I'm worried, love the blacks, there's no one better with 'em. I'll win the black vote, no question. Not a question. But you see these guys, they're scared, running away. You think Jesus would run away scared? From a promise? Look, I'm not saying they aren't Christian, but I don't know, you gotta wonder-- you gotta wonder."

Thank goodness. When I saw this thread I thought it was going to say they were endorsing. Sooooo happy that is not the case. I do not know any black ministers who are endorsing Trump and hope I NEVER meet any. Trump is as sinister as they come. Evil man.

Cleveland Hts. is such a liberal city that I could never imagine anyone voting for Trump or any other conserve. It is a city of art & self expression, not the kind of voter a repub can court.
