Appeals Court Ruling and Hearing Updates

Appeals Court rules Justice Department can continue Trump classified document investigation without a special master. It's hard to keep up with all the pending Trump lawsuits.

And the next investigation hearing is:

  • The hearing is Wednesday (9/28/22) at 1 p.m. in Washington, D.C.
  • Since the last hearing in July, the FBI searched Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate and the NY AG sued him.
  • In eight hearings this summer, the Jan. 6 committee revealed Trump's efforts to hold onto power.
  • The Jan. 6 committee vice chair, Rep. Liz Cheney, lost her GOP primary to a Trump-backed candidate. She leaves office in January 2023.

HEARING POSTPONED DUE TO HURRICANE IAN
