LOL, I think that is the perfect way to describe the way the republican party regards Trump. At the end of the day they got themselves into this position and it is kind of fun watching them squirm.

No matter what you think of Trump and Carson, the Republican party will never be the same after this election and that is a good thing.
Either they will further align themselves with their current bedfellows and ensure that Democrats control everything by 2020, they will fracture into two parties and ensure Democrats control everything by 2020, or they will become a party of the people as opposed to a party of an elite group of people.
The GOP is like a melting iceberg. The more angry and fiery they get, the more the iceberg will melt, leaving less room for people to stand on it. They will continue to alienate and alienate until there is no one left in the party.
