President Biden on Tuesday called on lawmakers to take steps to address gun violence in the wake of a deadly mass shooting at Michigan State University, pledging federal support to assist in the ongoing investigation.“I want to take a moment to say our hearts are with the students and the family of Michigan State University,” Biden said at a National Association of Counties gathering in Washington Tuesday afternoon.
