How pathetic is this?
Monday night's Iowa caucuses were especially rough for former Sen. Rick Santorum (R-PA), who polled at less than one percent four years after winning the contest. But adding insult to injury, MSNBC managed to find a Santorum precinct captain who didn't even vote for the long-shot candidate – because his pen ran out of ink.

Just when Trump thought it couldn't get any worse...
Scott Brown is set to endorse him in New Hampshire.

As expected, Trump is filled with lame excuses as to why he came in second.
“I did well in Iowa,” Trump said. “I spent less than just about anybody else.”
Love this one...
“I came in second by a lot of votes, like over 2,000 votes,” Trump said. “That’s a lot of votes, you know, for a basically small base.”
“The other thing we did," he added, "we brought in 50 or 60,000 more voters than have ever voted in a Republican caucus in, you know, in Iowa. I mean nobody's ever done that before.”
Note to Donald: All those extra voters you brought in voted for somebody else.
Trump: "The caucus system is very complicated.
I mean, you just never know what’s going to happen with the caucus. I mean, you think everything’s fine and it’s not like you walk in and you vote and you walk out — you’re in and out in 10 minutes, or two minutes. The caucus system is a complex system that I was never familiar with. I mean, I was never involved with the caucus system. Don’t forget, I’m doing this for the first time. I’m like a rookie."

Question to Donald:
What's so complicated about how the GOP caucuses work?
1. GOP caucus meetings begin with the Pledge of Allegiance and then activists get straight to the main event — selecting their presidential candidates in a binding vote.
2. Each campaign gets the chance to have a representative make a final pitch to any wavering voters before a secret ballot. Some caucus sites might use a printed ballot paper. Others just go with a candidate’s name on a scrap of paper.
3. Raw totals of votes are tallied by local party officials and sent to Iowa GOP headquarters, where a running count is kept.
Even Sarah Palin could understand it....er, maybe.

You knew this was coming....Donald Trump accuses Ted Cruz of stealing Iowa — and demands a new caucus.
