President Obama has Valentine's Day figured out: Declare your love for your wife on national TV a couple of days early, then go play golf.
Turns out the first couple already got romantic on Monday with a fancy dinner out.
When Valentine's Day rolls around on Sunday, the president will be golfing sans familia in Rancho Mirage, where he'll stay for the weekend after having dinner there Friday night with King Abdullah II of Jordan.
In other words: NO, Michelle was not on the plane to CA with Obama and YES, Michelle's Valentine poem to the president was pre-taped at the WH while the president's appearance was taped live in LA.
