I started watching The Voice midway thru last season and was so impressed.  Prior to watching the show, I thought it was just a rip off of American Idol.  But these contestants are so talented--every one of them.  The advice that they get from their coaches is actually helpful--not the American Idol, "that's a little pitchy"  or "you look nice tonight."  Great show with lots of talent.
