Erin Andrews Trial
It is a civil trial where Andrews is suing the Marriott Hotel for 75 million for letting a guy who was her stalker have a room next to her and he got into the peep hole and video taped her after she got out of the shower and put it on the internet, I didn;t think they were liable when i started watching but as testimony came out i do think they are liable, The guy asked to be next to her and i do think the hotel should have told her and asked this guy more questions of to why he wanted to be next to her, The trial is on verdict watch and i will let you know if a verdict comes in today, Have a Nice day All!

I have to admit that I didn't believe her story when I first heard it....Now that I've read some of her testimony, she did appear to be a credible witness. I just didn't understand why she was dancing around nude..(anyway, this is what they've said).
This morning I read that her 'video' is still online...its been 7 years...wow
The hotel's lawyer asked her tough questions...and acted like they didn't believe that her career had been hurt by what happened....in fact...she got more offers for work.
I think she will win her case...but I don't know if she will get 75 million....
perhaps they will settle out of court..

A verdict was reached, The hotel was liable, She got 55 mil from hotel and 28 mil from the guy who violated her which she will never get from him because he doesn't have it, The hotel was liable 49% and Barrett who was the perpetrator was liable 51%

haha Reality, you beat Yahoo's breaking news with the verdict LOL. I wonder if the hotel will learn a lesson-they should!

Wow!...I guess they will pay up unless they appeal.....And the money awarded to her from the guy that violated her...I'm sure she will get a little at a time from whatever he earns, if he works right?

LoL NEsunrise I am quick, I have my trial buddies on the WAT site who report fast and plus its all over facebook,
Spunky, If Barrett does make money i would think they would take a percentage of it but i am sure he and the hotel will appeal it So she won't see any money for a while, It will take years to get it settled.

Hi Reality,
I agree and disagree with you. Barrett is never going to make money unless it is under the table. I doubt he will appeal this decision. However, he has been exposed as a sexual deviant for the rest of his life.
As for the Marriott they are culpable beyond any reason of doubt. Their reputation is at stake and I suspect they will pay the judgement and not appeal. I could be wrong
