According to DT, his rhetoric has nothing to do with the violence at his events.
As Rachel Maddow pointed out:
"Trump’s rallies have included racially charged violence for months and said, “There have been instances in the past where he has at least encouraged or praised the idea of violent actions by his supporters. When he’s spoken wistfully about how great it would be to beat people up at his rallies or he has told people that he would pay their legal fees if they would beat up a protester on his behalf."
“Anybody who tells you that there is no connection between the behavior of the mob at these events and the behavior of the behavior of the man at the podium leading the mob at these events is not actually watching what he has been saying from the podium.”
Maddow concluded by saying, “American president politics didn’t get this way on its own. This is the work of an American presidential candidate who deliberately made this happen, and the Republican Party is about to nominate him for president.”

Donald Trump responded to the events in Chicago by blaming the protesters for the violence. Trump is using the events in Chicago as fuel for his campaign of racial division.
Maddow: If the violence is about anger at President Obama as Ted Cruz claimed, or is an expression of voter rage, why is it only happening at Trump campaign events?
Why doesn’t this kind of behavior occur at Marco Rubio events, or Ted Cruz rallies or John Kasich campaign stops? It isn’t because as Trump claims; there are no supporters at the events of the other candidates.

BERNIE SANDERS: Well, I think anybody who understands Mr. Trump’s campaign knows that he tells the truth very, very rarely and I’m afraid that on this occasion, he’s lying again.
First of all, he calls me a communist. Obviously, that’s a lie.
Then he says that our campaign is organizing disruptions of his rallies. That’s a lie.
George (Stephanopoulos), we have millions of supporters out there, and clearly, some of them were at that rally, along with many, many other protesters. But to say that we organized that, totally untrue.
Uh, Mr. Trump, I think, is getting very nervous. He is catching onto the fact that the American people do not support a candidate like Trump, whose — whose verbiage, whose language, whose rhetoric incites violence. I mean we’ve all seen rhetoric — we’ve all seen some of the video of people at his rallies sucker punching people, of kicking people.
And I would urge Mr. Trump, really, to tone it down, uh, to not incite violence on the part of his supporters.... But I think what we are seeing in the Trump campaign is not only racist attacks, but what you’re seeing is attacks on Muslims, on women, on veterans. To attack Senator John McCain because he was a POW is crazy.
To insult Mexicans, our neighbors to the south, calling Mexicans a rapist or — or criminals, this guy — there was a big debate in the United Kingdom parliament of whether or not he should even be allowed to enter the United Kingdom. This is a man who is dividing up his country in very serious ways, frightening ways.

Trump is blaming Sanders for the violence at his rally because you can't really be Hitler until you blame a Jew for your problems.

I have faith that in Nov the majority of voters will not vote Trump. All this nastiness & racially charged talk only works on racist republicans. Once liberals are involved his tactics will not work as they do now. He even managed to lose a lot of Republican(non-racists) votes, which will most certainly impact him on election night. I have heard many republicans say they will vote Hillary over Trump. We shall see.

The crazy person is a disaster waiting to happen. I just hope that no one get seriously injured or worse....He should be arrested for inciting fights at his rallys.

He's the most dangerous kind of buffoon; the kind which is taken seriously by masses of people.

I agree that he should be held responsible for inciting violence. He has clearly called for it on more than one occasion & we have it on video! If it were one of us & we had said the things he has at one of his rallies then we would most certainly be sitting in jail today.
Smh, why is this man permitted so much leeway? He is cheating & no one calls him on it. His abusing the media with his scary antics gives him an unfair advantage. Not cheating? Debatable, but there is a clear case of it during the debates. During the debates the candidates are not permitted to speak with their campaign managers, yet in almost every single debate Trump spoke with his. As a matter of fact his CP came up on stage, was told to leave & he decided to just ignore the moderator & continued his convo with Trump! The arrogance is astonishing & the media takes it because of ratings. The media should not be in charge of debates. Debates should just be televised.
