Meet Maricopa County Recorder Helen Purcell– who oversees the polls in the heart of "Ragtime Cowboy Joe" (Arpaio) country — and who went ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ (meh) when confronted by a reporter over 5 hour waits in the Arizona sun to cast a vote in a primary.
"Helch" as she's known to friends and family, decided to cut down just a teensy weensy bit on polling places for this election; from 200 to 60!
When asked who's to blame for the long lines, the Republican responded:
“Well, the voters for getting in line, maybe us for not having enough voting places,” she replied.

Question: Why is it that Republicans are always looking to discourage voting?
Answer: Republicans tend to do better when voter turn out is light.

That is really a sad state of affairs for Arizona. I hope they get this fixed before the November.
