Caribou, it is totallly untrue that noone on the other board was discussiing this board until yesterday. I too have been reading both boards since the mass bannings & as soon as posters started asking quuestons some posters started with the insults.. I also know for a fact many things were said thru private messaging & much of what was said were lies . I never called the venting on either board "awful". It's expected that people are angry. It's also exppected that people will pick sides . You are doing exactly what you accuse others of doing.Taking the comments of one or two posters & attributing them to everyone here. I certainly don' t believe everyone on the other board feels like XOre, indigo, Keep or Maggie. If you were iimpressed with the comments they've been making then you reallly have no reason to criticize anyone here. And as far as feeling welcome.? Posters welcomed you when they saw youu registered. This was your first post longer than just an " I'll be back" & you were still welcomed..Yes, posters disagreed with you but that is slwsys a posibility on any MB. What didn't happen was noone called you names, or changed your words, or trolled your name, or changed your avatar, or banned you & ALL of those things happened on the refugee board.
I don't have a bone to pick with anyone on either board because these are only discussions on publlic message boards & we should all be mature enough to get over whatever differences we have...Plus, anonymous or not, other people are reading these forums & contrary to some, I do care that people have negative oppinions about how posters from the View MB have two boards because they just couldn't figure a way to accept different opinions!! That is sad to me..
As I said before, it's been less than a week since the mass bannings & hopefully, we will be able to move beyond the raw feelings and both boards can just enjoy whatever contributions are made on both sites..I hope you have a good day and a better weekend.

SEC, I am not taking the comments of one or two posters and attributing them to everyone.  I directed my comment to Spunky.

Caribou, I'm glad to see you here! I've always found you to be a sensitive, thoughtful person. Welcome!!

Thank you Davila!

Dolly, I started having concerns as soon as I saw you were "limited" to one post or so, per day. That was weird...

I hated that Dolly was sent to a room and told to stay there. So much for freedom of speech. You can talk, but only over there. Crazy.

As far as reading the other board, I did the day I was banned to see if there was a thread explaining why and there wasn't. So why bother reading any of it any longer? These were people who didn't have the decency to tell you to your face that you (and by you I mean me, can't speak for anyone else) were not wanted and didn't have the balls to tell you why? And by reading comments here, it doesn't seem that any one of them took a stand against their leader. Just a flock of sheep.

Here's the funniest thing. Without even looking at the posts "over there", I know exactly what they're posting.
Hillary should be behind bars.
Donald Trump is right about everything.
Planned Parenthood is cutting up babies for profit.
Ben Carson is awake.
People hate Sarah Palin because she tells it like it is and they're jealous.
The fact that Bristol Palin got knocekd up twice after taking a vow of abstincece is nobody's business.
Baking a cake for a gay wedding is condoning same sex marriage, since it requires the bakers to be part of the ceremony, thus giving their approval which will make Jesus mad.
Carly Fiorina has a record for being a successful business woman.
Carly fiorina is pretty.
Hillary should be behind bars.
Benghazi is worse that Watergate.
Obama is responsible for ISIS.
Obamacare is a failure.
The economy is terrible, even though when Obama took office we were losing thousands of jobs everyday under Bush.
If God wants Ben Carson to be president, Ben Carson will be president.
If Hillary wins???
Bibi Netanyahu is our greatest friend and ally. Too bad he can't be our leader. Same with Putin, a leader who rastles with alligators instead of riding a bike in his "mom jeans" with a helmet on.

Ugg! they are all digusting people, filled with hate.....

So happy we are all out of there...

Re: Welcome To Plan B

I seem to have missed these posts somewhere along the way!  Just caught up with reading them, love that I'm here with everyone, I'm not home too often in the summer, we have a little cottage I spend my days at tending my flowers, come home at night and try to read up on everyone.  I live in Vermont up near the Canadian border, have quite a few family members "up there," so go across the border quite often. My husband and I have two little grandchildren, a boy 7 and a girl who will turn 5 in a few days.  Our cottage shares a yard with my son's house, so see him and his family almost daily.  Love crafting and going to flea markets.  I too was banned from the other board for who knows what reason, don't really care anymore, the great people are here.  I may not be on here that often, but I think of you through the day, my husband even asks how you all are and what you're commenting on quite often. Hopefully this winter I'll learn how to post those little pics that appear beside your names and some of the other cute things, I'm not the greatest when it comes to my computer, just glad I found you guys, it wasn't easy!

Re: Welcome To Plan B

Hi teluog! So happy to see you.  Your cottage life sounds awesome. Esp. since your Grandchildren are so close! I am a Grandmother too, to 18 month old twins, Henry & Claire. Being a Grandparent is the best thing ever! I live in the Chicagoland area, actually in NW Indiana about a half hour outside of "the city".

I am looking forward to posting with you. We are so lucky shiny set up Plan B for us. So nice to post without fear of being attacked.

Twins, twice the pleasure!  18 months, just learning about all the great treasure life holds, it's so much fun watching them discover things for the first time.  We've set up a little club house for them, just another little something to lure them over to our side of the yard!  Yes, I knew I liked shiny from the first post I read of hers on the VMB, so glad she set this up. Looking forward to posting with you also.  I'm off to spend time with the little ones when they get home from school.  Have a great day!

Hi Sam,
I am really bad about navigating throughout this site.  Just seeing your post.  I have a three yr old granddaughter and I agree it's wonderful to be a grandmother.  When I feel a bit down I go and see her and her smile makes my heart melt.  Congrats on your twin grandkids.

Re: Welcome To Plan B

Hi, I'm Campbell......was Campbell on the VMB and was on there for a couple of years. I'm 30 years old, an architect, and live in the Washington DC metro area. Enjoy hearing diverse views and that's why I registered on this board. Don't get to contribute as much as I'd like. When I can, It's always been a learning experience for me.

I'm married to a wonderful guy for 4 years and am the youngest of 5 children.............4 brothers!
