A reclusive, elderly woman is behind bars for allegedly breaking into the homes of her neighbors and stealing pounds and pounds of Easter eggs, assorted jelly beans and chocolate sculptures from their children's Easter baskets.
The woman was unable to provided any personal identification to police and only refers to herself as "Keep".
A very upset mother who wished to remain anonymous, said she had purchased a dark chocolate bunny driving an auto car for her 6 year old daughter who saw it on the "Ellen" show.
"I know she'll be devastated when she doesn't get it, my heart is broken for her".
According to authorities, the alleged thief fits the description of someone with two prior shoplifting convictions, including a "Black Friday" incident when she was arrested by county deputies for stealing items totaling $2,383 from a Macy's jewelry department.
She was caught putting the items in her purse and a blue and white tote bag by a loss prevention employee.
