Compare and contrast.

We all know the story of Bill's philandering.
We also know Hillary, for whatever reason, decided to stick with Bill
For that she was criticized.
Then there were the accusations of her threatening the women (most notably Monica L) Bill filandered with.

Reading about HBO's "Confirmation" got me looking back at the infamous Clarence Thomas/Anita Hill story.

Those who weren't around or don't remember details can look it up for themselves.Suffice it to say, according to Hill, Thomas made indecent comments and passes at her in the workplace which he denied. There was also another woman who claimed the same thing but wasn't given the chance to testify.

Enter Clarence's wife "Ginni".

In 2010, nineteen years after the hearings, Virginia Thomas (still married to Thomas) left Anita Hill a message on her answering machine urging Hill to recant her sworn Senate testimony accusing Clarence Thomas of talking incessantly about pornography, and in other ways harassing her when she worked for him at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.

"Anita Hill, this is Ginni Thomas, and I just wanted to reach across the airwaves and the years and ask you to consider something. I would love you to consider an apology sometime and some full explanation of why you did what you did with my husband.”

So in both cases, under very similar circumstances, both wives stood by their husbands and both couples are still together tody.

Yet, Hillary is still being criticized and labeled an opportunist for not divorcing Bill.

Has anyone criticized "Ginni" for doing the same?
