ESPN fires Curt Schilling
Schilling's termination comes after the former pitcher shared an anti-transgender meme on his Facebook page Tuesday.
"ESPN is an inclusive company. Curt Schilling has been advised that his conduct was unacceptable and his employment with ESPN has been terminated," the network said in a statement.
Prior to this latest bigoted statement, ESPN had suspended Schilling last August while covering the Little League World Series over posting a meme that compared Muslims and Nazis. ESPN would later extend the suspension for the entirety of the MLB season.
Schilling found himself in hot water again last month when he made controversial comments regarding Hillary Clinton on a sports radio talk show. He said that Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton should be "buried under a jail."
Glad he was fired, he's a racist bigot! .....What a stupid, stupid man!

The dumb a$$ asked for it. He has been warned at least 3 times for his racist/bigoted Social Media posts.

Yes, and Keep is a perfect example of that old saw.
Do people like Schilling post things on social media and think no one's going to see it and complain?
He deserves to lose his job.
