Hello everyone,
It's dry, the sun is out although hiding behind clouds at the moment, and it's a 3 day weekend.
Who could ask for anything more??
Turtle still in the house....Grrrr. Daughter is so tired I haven't bugged her about getting him out. (turtle not husband)
No plans this weekend except to relax and enjoy some folks.
I found a riding stable that allows children with health issues to ride the horses. They also take in horses that had been mistreated or put out to pasture for good. Might do that if we want to do a 2 hr drive.
How is everyone and do you have any plans for the weekend? Hope you all have a wonderful day.

Good Morning zeke and everyone else!
Already 79 but its tolerable, supposed to get to near 90 today...
We have a barbeque to go to on Sunday...other than that...just cleanup garden work, IF I can take the hot weather..
I hope you get to go to take your granddaughter to ride the horses....but anything you do with her should be great.....perhaps a cool place to see a movie.
Is that turtle a pet??
Edited to add: Enjoy your day and your weekend all! Thanks Zeke!

Yes, turtle is a pet that got way too big to be a pet. He will soon be swimming in the wild but there is a process. We are getting help with it if the call gets made! Daughter loves this turtle. He is a family member.
Have a GREAT weekend Spunky and all to follow. Stay safe please. The driving is wild out there.

Beautiful day here. 80 & kind of cloudy. We are expecting lots of rain this weekend, which will cool it down a bit. The humidity has been so bad all week. I like the heat but too much humidity makes me have to turn on the air.
Does this turtle have a name? Maybe he can be relocated to a place that your daughter can visit? Just a thought. Losing a pet, even a turtle can be traumatic. Didn't you say this is a snapping turtle? Does it bite?
