Keep:I still remember all the bitching about Sarah Palins borrowed wardrobe back on 2008. They certainly raised a stink about borrowed clothes the Repubs paid for.
Borrowed? Are you sure?
They were supposed to be given to charity, but nobody's talkin'.
Interesting tidbit:
February 2008:
A girl claiming to be Palin's niece sold a pair of the governor's $100 red Naughty Monkey high heels for $2,025 to an anonymous bidder on eBay. The size 7 1/2 shoes -- sported by Palin during the campaign -- were auctioned off along with two autographed pictures of the governor wearing them. "I got the shoes from aunt Sarah after mentioning that I liked them," she wrote on eBay's Web site. "They don't fit to well, so I decided to let someone else enjoy them."

No.1 When a woman makes history, as Hillary did last night, she deserves to wear an expensive dress.
(Think of the millions of dollars foolish brides spend on wedding dresses every year and many of the marriages don't last more than a couple of years.)
No.2 Hillary is not an elected official (yet) so she owes no explanation for the expense, since she's the one paying for it.
No.3 Don't diss Armani when your idea of high fashion is off the rack "Dress Barn".
And I mean that in the kindest possible way.
PS: Hillary said she and Bill were poor when they left the WH.
Mitt Romney, son of a multi- millionaire and wife Ann said they were so poor when they first got married, they had to use an ironing board for a kitchen table.
So, it's a matter of whose poor story is more believeable.

pfft ...there is poor and there is poor.. this is a first world problem.
Hillary deserved to wear whatever she wanted to last night, like her or hate her she did make history
