Thursday, July 7 Good Morning
Good Morning everyone! Partly cloudy today, still warm and humid with a chance of rain. It's a grandchildren day, they spent yesterday at the lake swimming all day, they should be tired by the time I see them this afternoon, don't know if that's a good thing or not! Hope everyone enjoys their day and that you all do a little something nice for yourselves today!

Another hot & humid day here. It really has been a great Summer thus far. I wish I was at the lake, nothing like enjoying the beach. Here we go to the beach on Lake Michigan. It is quite lovely. On a clear day you can see Chicago in the distance.
Hope you have a great day with the Grandkids, teluog. How old are they?

I never thought I would ever be compared to Sarah Palin, Spunky! 
You really can see Chicago from the shores of Lake Michigan in NW Indiana. It is pretty awesome. Until you look the other direction & see the pollution rising from the steel mills in Gary. 
I made the mistake of complaining to my Dad about that once. As someone who made his money from working in the steel mills, he went off on me about what those steel mills had provided for our family. I shut up right away!

Hope everybody is enjoying the day.....we are app 90 degrees and we might hit the hundreds in near future so I heard on the news. Again, no AC but I had a cool swim before work. Makes the whole day go faster.

Hey Sam!..I would NEVER compare you to SP.....Just what you said reminded me of that stupid statement SP made about being able to see Russia...you know the one that the other crazy board goes crazy about insisting she didn't say that..lol
You are way above SP or anyone on that crazy board or the other one. We are the best mb and have nice, respectful people on here, no insults. So happy for Plan B....thanks Shiny!!
