In-house speechwriter Meredith McIver claims she helped Melania Trump with her controversial Republican convention speech and offered to resign, according to a statement released by the Trump campaign.
McIver offered her resignation to GOP nominee Donald Trump, who refused to accept it, McIver wrote in the statement.Melania Trump’s speech to delegates on Monday used passages from first lady Michelle Obama’s address to the Democratic National Convention in 2008, drawing accusations of plagiarism.
Melania responded: "I Am Not A Crook".

The NY Times had an article about this yesterday naming that person as the problem LOL and Manafort was still denying any wrong doing this morning and Newt in all his glory had this to say "who cares?"

Totally agree..its so bad Cory Lewanoski (sp) is blaming Manafort....I guess he wants his job back....Lewanoski is now a political commentator on CNN and getting terrible reviews...
