Even Paul Ryan said it was just a joke.
Where was the same liberal media when Donald Trump’s life was threatened by a crazy person back in June?

Not quite the same thing; in fact the comparison isn't even close.
Trump is running for president.
Joke or no joke ( and I for one don't believe it was) it was said with the wink to the gun lobby.
Trump claims it was a call for unity, so why did he single out 2nd amendment supporters?
BTW, If you goggle "man tries to shoot Donald Trump outside of his Vegas casino", you'll find plenty of reportage from all the so called liberal media.
