    Thursday, Sept. 1

    Good Morning everyone!  Looks like it's going to be a nice day with lots of sun!  Enjoying every minute of what's left of the summer.  Took a day trip to Maine on Tuesday, left at seven in the morning and got home at seven at night (four hours each way).  Hit all our favorite antique shops except one that had closed down.  My husband collects a few types of toys, found some great ones!  Last Friday was our last Friday Night Live, best band of the summer.  Every week they do a fifty/fifty from tickets they sell during the evening, someone won over $700, sad to say it wasn't us!  Have a great day!

    Good morning teluog and plan b people!

    A bit cooler here today, 70 degrees...and it rained overnight...still looks a bit overcast...but temps are going to be lower...we'll see...

    That 'Friday Night Live' sounds like so much fun...I would love something like that. Glad that the band was the best and that you were able to enjoy it! Too bad you weren't the $700 winner, but at least you had fun.

    Yep, it's feeling like fall here. I guess that's ok.  I do like fall but I am sad to see Summer come to an end. Such a beautiful Summer too. I am thankful for the AC on those humid days but overall it was a great Summer!
    Friday Night Live sounds like so much fun!. Live music is always great. I am jealous about the antique shopping.  That must have been so fun. Great that your husband likes to collect & you enjoy antiquing together.
