Thursday, Sept. 15

Good Morning everyone!  My husband just got out of the hospital, he has a sinus, ear infection along with discovering he was born with a rare artery type condition.  The hospital he was in has never seen this before, we go today to see a specialist.  An offshoot of the main artery takes a different route than most peoples' behind the esophagus, I'm still processing and don't understand it completely.  He can live a long normal life, I think his main problems now are the infection.  Just further proof we all have to live every day to the fullest, enjoy every minute!  My son has the most impressive friends I've ever seen, they all work at the hospital and they treated us like family.  I talked to one of them, who is a doctor, last night, she told me to call her any time day or night.  Friends and family are everything!  Go out and enjoy your day!  Also my granddaughter's sixth birthday today, she's getting so big!

Re: Thursday, Sept. 15

Teloug.....thinking of you and your family. A sinus infection is annoying news but then to further it with more complications is worrisome. It's good to have all those friends at the hospital. They can watch out for your husband. Let hubby know your MB family is saying hello and sending good cheer.
Plan B peeps..... have a glorious day. It's a beauty here in NY. Sunny and dry and good temps. I am looking forward to next Wed (post audit) when life will be somewhat normal again. Will be in need of salsa.....

Re: Thursday, Sept. 15

Morning teluog, zeke & all to follow.
I hope your husband is feeling better, teluog.  A sinus infection can be very painful. The complications are frustrating for sure. I am so happy that your husband is getting such good care, it must be very comforting to you. Hope you have a great time with your Granddaughter on her Birthday. Time sure flies!

I hope everyone has a great day. It is cool this morning here but expected to warm up to about 80. I am loving this weather!

OMG Spunky! Lows in the upper 40's overnight?
I am not ready for this.

I am going to go check my weather bug ap to see if we are going to get cold like that too.

OK I checked.....low of 58 tonight.    Thank goodness. I am not ready for 40's yet.
I have been enjoying sleeping with the windows open.

Better get out the blankets, Spunky!

teluog,

Hope your husband is doing ok. Given your description of your husband's rare type and the fact that everything is flowing (although in a different direction) as usual is actually good news. Good that you are seeing a specialist.

You are so right, we have to live every day to the fullest and enjoy every minute. Sounds like you raised an impressive son! Family and friends really are everything.

Happy sixth birthday to your granddaughter
