Teachers wearing Black Lives Matter shirts to school.

I just read that teachers in Seattle are planning to wear BLM t-shirts to school to protest oppression of black people. I don't think this should be allowed as it is a form of protest and that is supposed to be a no no on the clock.  It is also promoting a political group and their cause on school time. I think this has no place on school time. What do you all think?

Interesting, I'll have to research it a bit. Usually teachers do not do things like that at school. Perhaps before or after school, I have taken part in protests but not during the actual school day.

I haven't heard about this. If they are doing it during school hours then I think it is inappropriate. Like Teach I will have research it a bit.

They have the support of the principal and the community. Looks like it's a teaching opportunity.
