Its cool here today and expecting rain later...

I agree about the 3 day weekends.lol That would be great for all those tired people out there.

I bought some Mum plants...and a couple of pumpkins....I went to Walmart and the prices were great, the mums are beautiful....I was a bit shocked to see that they had Christmas decorations out already....that's too early.

Teloug answered in yesterday's morning thread...They are back home and he's getting better. I bet being home helps with that.

NE.....tell us more about the squirrels. I love them. I love the way they scurry around in the fall gathering nuts for the winter.
Remember those church chocolate bars people used to sell? Si a friend had hers out on her terrace; one box with nuts and the other without. Squirrels climbed up and ravaged the whole cardboard box of candy but only the ones with the nuts.

Hi everyone! Sorry it's late but had a busy day. 

Quite cold this morning. I actually had to turn the heat on for about a half hour to warm it up a bit.  I know NE must be loving it. Not me.

Spunky, you are scared of squirrels? What??? They are so cute & friendly.  I have always been an animal person, kind of like Ellie Mae, if you know who that is!  I have animal friends that are opossums, raccoons, heck I even like spiders!   The other day I made brownies for snack & set them outside on the ledge to cool.  When I went to get them about a half hour later.....this squirrel had eaten a nice amount right out of the pan. LOL. I just threw them away, but I worried that squirrels might have a reaction to chocolate. Checked on line & I guess it isn't an issue.

I am all in on those 3 day weekends! Wouldn't that be awesome!
I can not even believe Christmas stuff is out at the stores.  I am not even ready for Halloween!

I hope everyone had a great hump day! The weekend is around the corner!
