Tuesday October 4th
Good Morning Plan B Peeps.
Well we are having a bit of a warming trend, mid to upper 70's. 
Sounds fantastic!
The garden is done. Eight pumpkins were the last to mature. 
Kind of sad for the season to end but I am going to enjoy the warm autumn days, with no garden to water. 
Yes, the election coverage is getting to me too. Tonight is the Vice Presidential debate. 
I do not want to watch but I feel I should. I don't know a lot about Tim Kaine. but I feel I should. 
I do know a lot about Mike Pence. Since he is the Governor of my state. 
He is not well liked here for a variety of reasons but the main reason is that he signed into law the Religious Freedom Act, which permits discrimination towards the LGBT community. Luckily people freaked out, & businesses threatened to take their business else ware so he revised the bill a week later to prevent potential discrimination. The man doesn't believe in climate change nor does he believe in evolution. 
He's one of those people who believe in abstinence education rather than sexual education. He also believes in conversion therapy for homosexuals. You'd think this guy was from Texas!
So I am torturing myself watching this debate tonight. 35 more days.......

After four days of drizzly rain, it's supposed to clear today and get a little bit warmer. The leaves seem to have changed over-night. I thought surely we wouldn't have very much color this year because of the lack of rain, wow, they are exploding with color, haven't seen this kind of color for a very long time. My yard looks like one large bouquet of flowers. My annuals in my flower boxes are still looking like I just planted them and a few perennials are still going strong, I'm sure the frost will get them before anything else. A few buildings in our downtown are being revamped and things are looking good, change is happening. Hate the thought of the long winter ahead, we do have a new Walmart going in about twenty miles from here, something to do. When you live in the country, twenty miles is in your neighborhood! Walmart, the Disney World of the northeast kingdom. My husband has an eye appt. today, he's doing way better than his doctors thought he would be this soon, he was at work for a while yesterday. Enjoy this beautiful fall day everyone, we all know what's coming soon, darkness by five o'clock, terrible snow storms for some of us!

Cool 58 here and it's raining a little....went out to get the paper and my morning cup of Cappuccino..heaven!lol
Sam you did great with the pumpkins...wow how great is that!.. I bought a couple of pumpkins and some mums. I am happy with them though. its starting to feel and look like fall around here.
I hear what you say about Pence, I can't understand how backward these people are...he's just as bad as DT (in sheeps clothing)...ugh...they make me sick.
My annuals are still blooming too 'teluog', but it won't be long now until they are history.
lol about Walmart. Good to hear that your husband is doing so well...good for him and you!

Hi teluog & Spunky.
Hope you are having a great morning. I am so happy your husband is feeling better, teluog. Going back to work, even for just for awhile is a great sign. Are his headaches subsiding? I used to suffer with frequent headaches in my teens. I seem to have out grown them, but I do know that they can dominate the quality of your life.
I always hate buying Mums, Spunky. They are pretty and all but their time span is so short that I feel it's a waste of money. Maybe in areas where frost does not come so early, I wouldn't feel like that. I used to live in Georgia & I loved that fall season. I love being able to wear shorts at Thanksgiving.

Hi Teloug, Spunky, and Sam. Glad to hear your husband is better, Teloug. He sure has had some ordeal. Very tough, I am sure. Walmart??? I go but I have a friend who refuses to set foot in W. She will sit in the car because of their bad treatment of their employees, especially women. And that's just for starters.
No mums for me. I'm sick of them and I hate when they start to die which is soon after buying them. Lol.
I will watch the debates at work while working...will have it on in the background. Pence is the Conservative to top all Conservatives. I hope Kaine does well. Hope DT continues on his downward spiral. But we all know he will pull something at the last minute. He is the lowest of low.

Hi zeke...I know the mums don't last...The ones I bought were just starting to flower...so now that it's rained every day...
they are finally blooming....look pretty and filled up some dead perennials' space that had dried up....
Watching the debate...or rather listening while I type.....ugh Pence....why didn't Indiana keep him??? too bad...a clean cut looking man who has the same values as DT...they hate everyone...
