Morning zeke & all Plan B Peeps to follow!

A bit cooler here this morning but still a lovely day.

Glad your Granddaughter is home.  There really is no place like home! Especially when you are recuperating. Is your Granddaughter usually a picky eater or she just doesn't feel like eating right now?  I know when I was ill about a year & a half ago, I lost a lot of weight & had a hard time eating.  I guess my stomach shrunk & food just did not appeal to me. I am a healthy eater by nature so I forced myself to eat healthy foods but it was a chore. Well, my Son brought me some Ben & Jerry's ice cream, "Cherry Garcia"! It is Vanilla ice cream with pieces of real cherries & French silk Chocolate ( like the hard chocolate when you get your cone dipped in chocolate). Strangely enough, it was appealing to me, when other foods were not. For weeks my Son would bring me small containers of this & my appetite started to improve.
The point I am making is, let your Granddaughter eat whatever her stomach desires to some degree. It will help her get back to her normal eating habits soon. Maybe she might like some smoothies or milk shakes. The smoothies are nutritious and appetizing. The milkshake might not be that nutritious but it is dairy & it will provide the fat & calories she needs right now!  I hope she is feeling better soon!

 I am planning to watch the debate. It is a chore but I want to support Hillary. I may shut it off after about 15 minutes if Trump is being an idiot again.  I think they are back at the podium tonight so hopefully the jerk won't be stalking her again.

Thank you for the eating advice. Grandbaby has a trach. We are trying to introduce foods but it's a challenge. She loves water. She does ok with smoothies but just sips. She gets nutrition through a feeding tube at night and during the day she sips her "milk". Sometimes she will eat applesauce. We will try the ice cream for sure.
We are trying to get her to Boston CHOP to see if the Dr's there have better solutions.
With all of this she is a happy little girl. And did I say pretty? Sorry. No shame.
I wouldn't miss the debates for anything. It's a freak show. 
How did this pervert get the privilege to run for the highest office in the country????

Oh, zeke, God Bless you and your granddaughter, prayers sent your way!  We're back home from the hospital, five admissions and a month later.  My husband was flown by chopper this last time, they thought he was having a stroke.  He didn't, just this unbelievable case of shingles, it's so rare they really aren't sure how long to treat him, the virus is in his spinal fluid.  He had a reaction to the meds, they're hard on the kidneys.  We go tomorrow to have another spinal tap, it'll be a long day.  I'll try to get back to my Thursday morning greetings next week.  He was itching to get out of the house today, that's a great sign.  Have a nice evening everyone, I hope the debates show Donald Trump for the louse he is, we'll be watching.
