New Zealand Passport Robot Tells Asian Applicant to Open Eyes

I know this is wrong of me, but I find this hysterical.  This is what happens when we try to replace humans with machines.

A New Zealand man of Asian descent had his passport photograph rejected when facial recognition software mistakenly registered his eyes as being closed.

Geez......
Well I hate the idea of Amazon creating stores that have no real checkout people. Retail cashiers make up 1/3 of the American job market. I won't use this service for sure.

I'm with you!  I REFUSE to check myself out at the grocery store or any of those other stores.  That's taking jobs away from people

I agree with both of you....I won't even use the self-check-out cash registers..
