Mittens was one of Trump's harshest critics during the campaign calling the GOP front-runner a "phony" and a "fraud".
Mitt: "Dishonesty is Trump's hallmark: He claimed that he had spoken clearly and boldly against going into Iraq. Wrong. He spoke in favor of invading Iraq. He said he saw thousands of Muslims in New Jersey celebrating 9/11. Wrong. He saw no such thing. He imagined it. He's not of the temperament of the kind of stable, thoughtful person we need as leader. His imagination must not be married to real power."
Then came the election...
Trump summons Mitt to "The Tower of Babble" and treats him to a dinner of frog's legs followed by a tease that he might be up for the position of SOS.
After said dinner Romney had this to say about Trump: "I'm impressed by what I have seen in the transition effort," praising his selections as "solid, effective, capable people."Romney added that America's "best days are ahead of us," that their meetings, the president-elect's comments during his victory night speech and his Cabinet and adviser picks "give me increasing hope that President-elect Trump is the very man who can lead us to that better future."
As usual, Trump gets the last laugh on his detractors.
Surprise Mitt!!!
You didn't get the job and now that you said such nice things about Trump, you''ll look like a sore loser if you criticize Trump in the future.
BAM! You've been Trumped!
