Hi Spunky & all to follow.
It is kind of a misty cool day here. Very foggy too.

Yes the march was amazing. All over the planet women united.  No violence either. That's because women know how to do it right. One of my friends, her husband and their twin college age girls attended the march in Chicago. It was truly a family affair. I wish I'd have gone but I didn't.  Too bad we don't live closer Spunky, we could have gone together.

I can't wait to hear from zeke. It must have been an amazing experience. The weather was fantastic here in Chicago.  It was actually in the low 60's.

I hope everyone is having a great weekend. Well as great as it can be with a pig for our POTUS.

Evening all,

It was positively summer here-worked on my tan while drinking coffee outside! No coat required!

I think we are getting bad stuff tonight or tomorrow from the ocean, so y'all will be spared LOL. I really need to pay more attention to weather

Zeke has stayed in DC and is setting up shop for her 2018 run  (cause you know the yam isn't going to last) LOL

Re: Sunday, January 22, 2017

Howdy..... You guys are the best. I thought about your words and loving well wishes throughout the day.  I got back to the city last night but I was sooo tired. We walked for miles ....sometimes in crowds of people so tight that you had to take baby steps to walk at all.
Crowds and crowds of people, the nicest ever. People said excuse me if they bumped you and people moved aside to let you through.
The signs were so creative....I have written down many of the words.
Couldn't make it back to the bus home.....no cabs, buses, metro was too packed. I couldn't take it so I flagged down a car with s nice looking fellow and yelled, "I'll give you $20 if you drive us to our bus".
Well, he let these three old ladies in his car and refused to take money. He did take our unused metro cards. He was a soldier,  originally from Kansas. He now lives in DC with his partner. He was proud to say they had just closed on a condo.
WHEW!!  What a day.  Would I do it again? YES.
Everyone (on this NOW bus) agreed. This is only day one. We won't stop. We'll call out the Un-President at every turn!!
BEST SIGN: To DT:
You're so vain
I bet you think this March is about you!
Lol.

That is amazing, zeke. So wonderful that all the protestors were so peaceful. That's because women know how to do it right!

I am so happy that you had such a great experience. You can bet, I will be telling all my friends about your positive experience with the march.

I must say I love that slogan,
You're so vain
I bet you think this March is about you!

I think I will be singing that all day!
