does anyone even care about this family any more? 

I admit, I got sucked into watching the latest episode of Cara and Maddie's 16th birthday party.

They wanted us to believe that the party was originally planned to be held on their patio but because of questionable weather it was moved to restaurant (owned by friends) that day.  And we're expected to believe that since the little ones couldn't attend (space restrictions at the new venue) Kate thought it would be fun to have a mobile ice cream parlor come to the house for them.  Meanwhile, there was babysitter there who was supervising the sextuplets making gifts for the twins. 

and since we were supposed to believe all this, it would have been a good touch to show who was responsible for contacting the guests to let them know about the changes.  Maybe the twins texting everyone or something.  but of course, there was no mention of this.

Really?  Kate put all this together that day--while running behind picking up flowers and cake and making salmon burgers and finding a venue for the party?  And of course, as she pointed out, "all by herself."
