Tuesday August 22nd.
Good Morning Plan B Peeps. 
We finally got some rain last night. 
My garden is very thankful. The rain cooled it off a bit so the highs will only be in the 70's today. Makes for a beautiful day, even if it is still raining a bit.
I did not watch Trump's speech last night. 
I can not make myself watch his ignorant self. From what I read this morning, he read the speech off the teleprompter and did not have much conviction in his words. No surprise there. It still drives me crazy to think that idiot was elected POTUS. That definitely says a lot about the citizens of America. How could anyone find that 
Presidential material? I don't think I have ever hated someone so much in my life.
Another busy day for me at work, so I better get back to the grind.

Good Morning Sam and everyone to follow! Another sunny day, I think they're calling for storms later on. Sunset last night was spectacular, wish I'd had my camera with me. Spent the day with my grandchildren, wanted to make sure they viewed the eclipse with the appropriate glasses, turned out my grandson was a little freaked out about it and wanted all the curtains closed and wouldn't go out until four o'clock! We compromised with the curtains half closed, but didn't want to force him outside before he was ready. He usually scares me half to death with his headlong dive into life without looking. As a nine year old, he's smarter than the president, I can't stand looking at Trump either, didn't watch his speech last night because I knew I'd hear more than enough of it today. Go out and enjoy your day everyone, we've survived worse!

I know what you mean about your 9 year old grandson being smarter than Trump. My Nephew is 9 and I make that comparison all the time (to myself anyway. 
) I know for sure my nephew's vocabulary is better than Trump's. I also think he has a better handle on American history and history in general. It is a very sad time for America. To think that fool represents America to the world. 
Sorry to hear that the thought of an eclipse was frightening to your grandson. I can understand why. It is so stressful to be a kid these days. So much negativity, fear and hate out in the world. I think Trump certainly adds to the fear. I thought that back during the debates. He wasn't appropriate for even a high school student to watch imo. What once was a civic lesson became an R rated reality show for the Presidency.

I saw parts of his speech on the news this morning...yeah someone wrote it for him...I guess Bannon is still on board...such a boring lunatic and really said nothing of value....just trying to steal the mineral deposits in Afghanistan....so crooked that pervert is.
You're right teluog...."R" stands for ridiculous and revolting....piece of shit!

Agree with everything you guys have said here.
It's so hot and muggy. I am so happy to be home and safe. Sometimes the world can beat "you" up.
I don't think we have rain in the forecast. Waiting for Thurs morn. My swim day.
