Dolly you hit the nail on the head!  How stupid are these people?  I've heard that advice for a grizzly bear attack.  But a bullet is either going to hit you or its not--you can't try to trick it.   Those people were sitting ducks.  And since they couldn't tell where the shooting was coming from, they had no idea where to go.  So I guess they should have rolled up into a ball as small as they could, stayed where they were, and got trampled by those running in fear.  When I was a child we had atom bomb drills.  We were to  kneel against the lockers, put one arm over our eyes and the other over the back of our necks.   I guess we're now going to have drills for random, wacko shootings.  Roll up into a ball and play hedgehog.  You'll be ok!  And more and more people will die.  I don't know the answer but we have to have an honest and open discussion by reasonable people to find a solution to this!!   But, since nothing was done when beautiful children in Sandy Hook were shot, nothing will be done now.
