For some bizarre reason, and in spite of well-documented history, people actually believed candidate Trump when he said he would keep jobs in America.
Less than four months after it laid off nearly 340 employees at its Indianapolis factory, Carrier announced that 215 more employees will be terminated on Jan. 11.The company said in a statement that it had originally planned to lay off 275 employees on Dec. 22, but decided to reduce the size of the layoff and delay the timing because of voluntary employee attrition.
Brenda Darlene Battle, a 55-year-old former Carrier worker who accepted a buy-out agreement earlier this year, told the New Yorker that the general feeling among employees is that Trump “blew smoke up our asses.”
In the words of our last, real POTUS:
"Donald Trump has always been a bullshitter".

Did you hear the latest from Trump about keeping jobs in America?
President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort has been granted 70 visas to bring in foreign workers for the winter season, The Palm Beach Post reports.
That’s a 9 percent increase from last year, when Mar-a-Lago hired 64 workers under the H-2B visa program.
Interesting sidenote:
U.S. businesses are required to take a number of steps to prove that attempts to hire American workers failed before they are given permission to hire foreign workers, including placing ads in newspapers. Mar-a-Lago's ad, on page C8 of The Palm Beach Post, gave no email address or phone number and asked applicants to "apply by fax." It ran twice.
Also, too....
"The club's request for visas came in the middle of 'Made in America Week' at the White House, as Trump and his administration sought to highlight his push to remake U.S. trade policy. Even as Trump urged
