Yep, I'm hungry LOL
What does everyone cook for Christmas or Holiday dinners? I'm always interested in peoples traditions
We didn't have a Christmas Dinner because we had Christmas Eve dinner. We were at the church all day during Christmas or at church functions because my father was a minister. So we had Christmas Eve dinner and that tradition continued, even after adulthood. This also as freed me to go mooch off other peoples Christmas's when I was released from church attendance
So our Christmas Eve dinner (still my favorite) was Beef Wellington, with Bearnaise Sauce, a broccoli casserole, mashed taters, creamed onions and the best "holiday" bread in the whole wide world.
Christmas cookies for dessert and I think some kind of log ice cream thing was introduced (I forget)
Anybody else want to share?

That sounds sooooo good. For me it's a copy of Thanksgiving which is ok with me. I love turkey.

Mostly turkey and all the fixings, once in a while we did prime rib, but that's gotten too expensive. I also wouldn't mind a pork roast in the future. Pies, tarts and cookies for dessert, there are fewer of us now so we don't need quite as much as we used to. Anything with gravy!!!

I will do a turkey with all the trimmings Christmas eve and a Ham Christmas day with hash brown casserole salads and upside town, pineapple cake. Yikes I am tired.
