(CNN)First lady Melania Trump took a trip to the US-Mexico borderon Thursday to tour an immigrant children's shelter, but her trip is getting attention not only for her action, but her wardrobe choice.As the first lady boarded her plane from Andrews Air Force Base, she wore an olive green jacket. The back of the jacket read: "I really don't care. Do U?" in white graffiti-style lettering.

Yeah.....and she means it...she doesn't care. None of them do. No secret meaning of empathy...no sympathy. It's no mishap that she wore THAT jacket. She's done this crap before. High heels and stylish hat while her husband throws paper towels to Puerto Ricans.

I just heard on the news...that the message on her jacket.... that will be viewed around the world ...will tell people what this Administrations' message really is...

She should be ashamed....to wear that AFTER she left the meeting with those nice people that welcomed her....to visit the children......Now they know how she really felt about being there,

I only watched a few minutes of it, had to shut it off because it made me sick. I got the impression it was the tour to show everyone how great things were going for these kids, make everyone see how "lucky" they are to have this happen to them, so much better than they're used to.

Great picture NE. DT's supporters are still backing him. I talked to a local person who said of the children's camps..."they've done this before". That is always the answer they give. Such ignorance.

I'm trying to give her a break because after all isn't being married to him the worst punishment you can think of? But the jacket is inappropriate for a first lady to wear under any circumstances and she wore it at the absolute worst time. don't these people ever think about what they're doing? are they so far removed they can't understand that what they do not only reflects on them but on all Americans world wide?

You are a better person than I. She is a grown woman who is probably surrounded by mirrors and advisers. She knew what she was doing. I don't know her intent but I saw what she had on and so did she. If there is a plausible explanation then it is Melania who should provide one to the citizens of this country. Other than that, she is just another deplorable follower of her mentally depraved husband.
