Kiel Bros. Oil Co. collapsed in 2004. Indiana, Kentucky and Illinois still owe millions of dollars for the cleanup of leaked toxic chemicals that have contaminated soil, streams and wells on more than 85 sites, all owned by Kiel. $21 million has been spent by Indiana alone, so far, on some of the cleanup. Kiel Bros. has only covered a fraction of the costs. Vice President Mike Pence's brother, Greg Pence, was the President of Kiel Bros, he's now running for Congress as a republican. Mike Pence, himself, used to work for the company. Pence's father, Edward, was the Vice President. Fiscal conservatives not taking responsibility for their actions, have stiffed the tax-payers for the cleanup of these sights in three states.
