A rescue attempt was made on a London rooftop on Monday morning.  A Macaw, Jessie the parrot, escaped from her owner's home and spent three days on a nearby roof until firemen came to the rescue.  The parrot spewed profanity at her rescuers.  One of the firemen tried to bond with her by telling her he loved her, apparently she told her rescuers to "_uck off!"  They thought maybe Jessie had been hurt because she spent so much time on the rooftop but then she flew to a neighboring roof and then to a tree.  She ended up flying home on her own and is happily back with her owners, the firemen eventually got a thank you from her even though she didn't appreciate their efforts at the time.  It's a jungle out there.
