Chuck Grassley caught with his foot in his mouth again
Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) told reporters yesterday, that it's hard to get women on the judiciary committee because it requires a lot of hard work. Of course, he tried to walk it back later by saying it was also hard to get men on the committee too (apparently not since they're all men). Then he said on average, any woman probably works harder than the average man. These idiots never learn from their mistakes, because they open their mouths and the truth of what they really believe comes out. Then they think we're all so stupid we'll believe the clean-up. So clueless and out of touch with reality.

OMG.....!!!!!! I can't stand any of them...
first they steal the presidential election, and now they appoint a pervert to the SC, to protect that other pervert !!!!
We ALL have to VOTE on NOV 6 and get them out !!!!

Today he was back-pedaling his statement.“It’s a lot of work — maybe they don’t want to do it,” Grassley said.
“My chief of staff of 33 years tells me we’ve tried to recruit women and we couldn’t get the job done.”According to WSJ, Grassley later came back to clarify that he didn’t mean to single out women.
“We have a hard time getting men on the committee. It’s just a lot of work whether you’re a man or a woman, it doesn’t matter,” he said.

I've never been so fired up for election day as I am right now. EVERYONE needs to get out and vote! we all need to come back here on election day and say "I voted today!"

I am for that cossy. What if we all come back and say "I took someone to vote today"? If we agree to it, I'll do it. That would be pretty cool.

good idea zeke! I'm going to see what I can do to get someone else to the polls that day. Lets come back here on election day and someone early in the day start a new "I voted/took someone to the polls" tread!

Absolutely! I have a neighbor I WON'T take because we cancel each other out. Guess I am not that magnanimous of a person.
