Colin Powell
For what it's worth, Colin Powell has spoken out about trump, accusing him of placing himself, rather than the American people at the center of the nation. "My favorite three words in our Constitution are the first three words: 'We the People,' " Powell said. "But recently it's become 'Me the President.' And you see things that shouldn't be happening." He also criticized trump for insulting everyone, including foreign leaders who are allies to us. Where has he been all this time, along with other republicans who are supposedly smart?

Agree teluog. Not the first time he has been Johnny-come-lately. I'm glad he has spoken but he needs to up his game.
Also, on the View, Joy noted that George W Bush was out campaigning for Kavanaugh.
That's it. He's off my feel-sorry-for/decent guy list.

I agree teluog and zeke....he should have spoken out sooner and more forcibly!
In an interview on Sunday, with CNN's Fareed Zakaria...he said this:“I hope the president can come to the realization that he should really stop insulting people,” Powell said.
“I used this two years ago when I said I could not vote for him in the 2016 election. Why? He insulted everybody. He insulted African-Americans. He insulted women. He insulted immigrants. He insulted our best friends around the world. All of his fellow candidates up on the stage during the debates.
I don’t think that’s what should be coming out of a president of the United States. But I don’t see anything that’s changed in the last two years.”_________________________________
I just can't remember Collin Powell saying this, before NOW!
I've always like and respected Collin Powell, but saying this now, may be...... too little too late
