the times that kids are allowed to Trick or Treat here are very specific here--6:00 to 8:00.  My neighborhood is crawling with kids.  It's like the Halloweens that you see on TV shows and movies with kids everywhere.  Unfortunately we had planned on going to a program about local ghosts, so we weren't home for Trick or Treat.  The problem was that we had to leave at 6:30--a half hour into Trick or Treat.  So we had to get out to our car and take off just as a group of about 10 kids arrived.  I felt so bad.  We should have planned better and left before 6:00 and maybe gone out for a bite to eat or something....
