The original format of the show was supposed to be a group of women talking about motherhood and life in general.i read that Julie was jealous of Leah and Holly because they were so funny. I wasn't impressed when HRP and LR were let go. I stopped watching for a while. Then after I'd gone back to watching I realized I didn't really like how vapid and shallow the show is.

Carrie Ann Inaba is a judge on Dancing with the Stars.  I'm pretty sure she was hoping to get Ryan Seachrist's spot on Kelly and Ryan.  She co-hosted a number of times and she drove me nuts. LOL  I don't watch Kelly and Ryan much but I do like to see the first 15 min or so when they "chat."   I always felt like Carrie Ann was trying too hard.

The Talk is a chat show. They talk a lot about celebrities and they're very gossipy and judgemental. I suppose that put Julie Chen in an awkward place since her own husband is a sexual predator. I haven't watched it in ages and don't plan to watch it any time in the near future.

every once in a while I tune in just to see what they're talking about and I can't even get thru the full hour.  At least the show had some spunk when Leah and Holly were on, but they were treated terribly.  I like Melissa Gilbert but just can't handle that show.


 

 
Me either. Melissa is great. She's articulate and intelligent as well. The show isn't my cup of tea, and my husband can't stand any of the women. He turns the TV off if that show is on.

AND....... Can you imagine if Leah was still on the show and able to talk about why she left Scientology????? She has a lot to say about that cult and I believe everything she's said about John Travolta, Tom Cruise any any othe celebrity that's a member of that religion.
