The Senate voted to approve the border security funding bill and trump has said he'll sign it.  He also plans to declare a national emergency to get $8 billion in funding for his wall today:  $1.375 billion will come from the actual spending bill;  $600 million from the Treasury Dept. drug forfeiture fund;  $2.5 billion from the Pentagon's drug interdiction program;  and through an emergency declaration, $3.5 billion from the Pentagon's military construction budget.  Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer made a joint statement:  "The declaration would be a lawless act and a gross abuse of the power of the presidency."  Fox Noise is behind this decision, he's got to keep his base happy.  trump manufactured an emergency at the border, now he's stealing money to pay for it.  His base, which is about 36%, is driving the rest of us into a ditch.  Mike Pence, who is on record against executive orders from when Obama was in office, says trump has every right to declare a national emergency by executive order now, big surprise.
