She has passed away at the age of 70. She is best remembered as Georgette the soft spoken mild mannered wife of Ted Baxter on the Mary Tyler Moore show. She also starred along side Ethel Merman in Hello Dolly.
She also appeared in The Drowsey Chaperone on Broadway along side of Sutton Foster. This was the 1st Broadway show my daughter and I ever saw.....thanks to being given free tickets to the show compliments of The View. Georgia was a guest on the show the day we went to see a taping. She was exactly like Georgette....I was over the moon because I loved the MTM show.
