I'm going to an early show today. I'm so excited because Downton Abbey is my all time favourite TV series. I've watched every episode of every season 3 times. I've even travelled to NYC to see the DA exhibit.
Now my daughter and I need to travel to the UK because we need to visit Highclere Castle.

Wow....I want to hear all about the Castle. I never saw the first season but got hooked after watching the show one time. Let me know how you like it. I saw it last night. I won't say a word.

Oh my gosh......I loved it. The story was self contained so that anyone could follow the story line even if they hadn't seen the movie. Violet had the best lines ever. I loved how she handed the baton over to Mary. That was so heartfelt it made me cry. I'm going to go back with a friend this weekend. She is just as much a fan as I am. There were no loose ends. I'm glad for Thomas and Branson too. They needed to find happiness.

Yes, happy for Tom and Branson....Branson's scenes made me nervous but all turned out ok.
My friend mentioned that they left out that family that was related...cousins. Remember them? The young woman was very pretty and liked to get into London to party.
There is enough opportunity left for a second film! I think the cast is in favor of that.

The young pretty woman was cousin Rose. She married Atticus and they moved to New York. She wasn't part of the original cast so it didn't bother me that she wasn't in the movie. I like that there was a spark between Branson and Mary. Violet was very supportive of this as well because it would keep the Family estate going strong.

Uh oh. I am confused. I was a late-comer to Downton. I was using the name Branson for the gay butler who got arrested.
