I saw this on FB, and let me tell you the hate this woman got because she dared to kneel during the national anthem was dispicable. People said things like she should be shipped of to Iran if she doesn't like it here. Or the award should have been given to a more deserving teacher....or what a horrible person she is for disrespecting the flag. Really????? What is wrong with people?

People are jealous and scared: jealous because they don't have the nerve it takes to do something like this and scared because they think what she's doing might mean it could somehow change their lives.

I totally agree...fear is a great motivator on how people react to situations
