Sadly, there are people who still stand by this president--calling him the best we've ever had.  It is to the point that I barely read the paper and I'm on the brink of no longer wanting to live in a country where this man is put on a pedestal.  Even when he is clearly on tape saying hateful things, his followers stand by him.  I really don't think I speak the same language that they do.  What are they hearing that I'm not?  I'm afraid for this country.  I'm afraid that this man is going to encourage his followers to go out, with their guns, and shoot up the place if he loses the election.  

I want this virus crisis to be over, and soon, but not at the cost of people's lives.  I know it's hard.  I have a friend who has no income (her two part time jobs are now non-existent) and she lives in an apartment that she couldn't even afford when she was working.  I have friends who own small businesses that are non-essential so they're closed.  How will these people manage?  I thank God that my income, even though I do have a job) is not job dependent.  I work because I enjoy it.  I'm going to be ok even if I don't work for a few months.  But I worry about other who are not so fortunate.  

I think some people have woken up to see what this man really is, and I hope that more do.  I also hope they remember it come November!
