George Floyd's death has inspired a national movement.

Now it's time to celebrate his life.

His family, friends and a number of guests gathered in Minneapolis for the memorial service .

Rev. Al Sharpton delivered the eulogy at the service, which took place at North Central University.

This was the first of several memorial services for Floyd.

Sad...that they all had to gather to say good-bye to a nice man, that so needlessly was murdered by those sworn to protect us....
