President-elect Joe Biden presided over a national memorial ceremony today to honor the nearly 400,000 Americans who have died of the coronavirus. It was held at the Lincoln memorial.
It kicked off “a national moment of unity” with similar memorials across the country.
"We gather tonight, a nation in mourning, to pay tribute to the lives we lost," Harris had said earlier. "For many months, we have grieved by ourselves. Tonight we grieve together."
It was a beautiful and sad memorial.....
